How to use WHO Guidelines and Tools with Service Delivery HIPs

WHO Guidelines are important resources but are not systematically incorporated into programmatic interventions. In light of this challenge, a Matrix Tool has been developed to increase awareness and use of WHO Guidelines and tools when implementing family planning High Impact Practices (HIPs).

The matrix provides quick reference on WHO Guidelines and tools and how to incorporate them when designing and implementing programmatic interventions, and it provides suggestions for how the HIPs and the WHO Guidelines and tools can be used together, including for the purpose of:

  • Advocacy
  • Program Design
  • Provider Reference and
  • Training.

The matrix is available in English, French, Portuguese and Spanish and can be accessed in the attached files.

To learn more about how the matrix may be used, please join our webinar on 2 December!
